Hi! I’m Kathleen — founder of City Girl Scrapbooking, card-carrying paper hoarder, champion of glitter, and your new crafty bestie.
I’ve been scrapbooking and cardmaking for over 18 years, and while I’ve tried to keep things tidy… my paper stash (and life) are both a little messy, a little loud, and full of stories. And I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I believe crafting should feel more like a party than a class — whether you’re on Zoom in your pajamas, making something late at night in your kitchen, or just staring at your paper pile with coffee (or Diet Coke) in hand.
💖 A few things you should know:
- I’m married to a man who insists he’s “not involved,” even while helping with events, hauling supplies, and navigating around a house that’s basically been turned into one giant craft zone. (He’s a little cranky about the glitter, but he still shows up. Even if I have to bribe him.)
- My assistant is Ava, a mischievous black and grey-striped cat with white paws and serious opinions about ribbon placement.
- I love soap operas, HGTV, and a good DIY project — even if it means accidentally gluing my fingers together.
- Diet Coke is basically my crafting fuel.
- And yes, I will absolutely use the sparkly paper, even when it doesn’t match.
